Description
The Three Tuns Public House is a 17th and 18th century building located on the south side of High Street. It features an altered 18th century front made of red brick, adorned with a delicate dentil wooden cornice. The first floor has two 18th century windows, which are flush sashes with glazing bars and cambered relieving arches. There is a modern half-glazed door situated beneath an 18th century broken cornice and an open pediment supported by cut brackets. To the right of the ground floor, there is a large window with glazing bars and a modillion cornice. The older back wing has a gabled roof and irregular fenestration, including some 17th century lead easements and 18th century sashes. The chimney stack has been heightened. The Three Tuns Public House, along with Nos 33 and 34, forms a group.
