Description
The barn located to the south of Chestnut Farmhouse is an early 19th-century structure that is currently used as a workshop. The front four bays of the barn were rebuilt following a fire in 1958. It features a timber frame with weatherboard cladding and a brick plinth, while the front gable wall is partly rebuilt in brick. The barn has a tiled roof and consists of nine bays. On the left side, there is a cart entry towards the left end, a board door, and three windows to the right. The interior includes machine-cut queen strut trusses. This barn is included for its group value with the adjacent farmhouse.
