Description

Malt Cottage is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The ground floor is made of coursed rubblestone, while the first floor is colourwashed and rendered. It has an old tile roof and consists of three bays and two storeys. The building previously included No. 6 as a crosswing. The central entrance features a six-panel door and a modern wide open porch with a lean-to tiled roof. There are three-pane sash windows set in exposed box frames, and there are flanking stacks on either side.
