Description
Number 12 on Church Street is a building from the 16th century that was refronted in the 18th century. The plaster decoration on the gables has been removed. It has two storeys and an attic, with part of the structure being brick that is colour-washed, and part being timber framed and rough cast colour-washed. The roof is made of old tiles and features one dormer. The larger section on the left has a double-gabled design with the first floor oversailing. On the first floor, there are two three-light casements with modern lights. The ground floor has two wide bay windows and a central door with four panels. The right side of the front has one three-light casement and a five-panel door topped with a bracket-shaped headboard over an architrave surround, along with a flat hood. The building has a picturesque appearance. Numbers 8 to 12 (even) and number 16 form a group.
