Description

No. 35 on Quainton Road is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, while the upper gables have 20th-century brick infill, some of which is arranged in a herringbone pattern. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a brick chimney situated between the right-hand bays. The house is 1½ storeys tall and has four irregular bays. The windows are 19th to 20th-century barred wooden casements, with an irregular arrangement on the ground floor and two 3-light windows in the thatch. A 20th-century door is located between the right-hand bays, and there is a 20th-century weatherboard lean-to on the right side.
