Description
Dell House is a house dated 1708, as indicated by a moulded oval plaque on the front. It has been refurbished and extended to the right in the 20th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a hipped old tile roof with brick chimneys. It is a double pile structure with two storeys and two bays. The house has a rendered plinth and a partial first floor band course made of gauged brick. The windows are transomed 3-light wooden casements, which were renewed in the 20th century, with those on the ground floor having cambered heads. The central doorway has a gauged head but is blocked and glazed as of around 1985. The 20th-century extension to the right has a ground floor of brick and an upper storey that is rendered, featuring similar casements. There is a 20th-century door on the left side of the extension.
