Description
The building is a former coach house located at the southeast corner of Liscombe House, with a garden wall attached to the northwest corner. It dates from the late 18th century and was altered and extended by one bay to the east in the early 20th century. The structure features vitreous brick headers with red brick dressings, a moulded brick eaves cornice, and a tiled roof with stepped gables.
On the south side, there are four bays, with the three bays on the left having blocked depressed arches that include stone keyblocks and imposts. To the left, there are two arches with small 20th-century casements. The building also has two hipped dormers with sash windows. The north side has two later entrances with depressed arches and a stone mounting block. A 20th-century garage block to the east is not of special interest.
The garden wall between the coach house and the chapel is from the 18th century, constructed of brick with a battlemented top and features two wrought iron gates: one in a pointed arch and the other in a round arch with a stepped gable above.
