Lone Ash is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered over time. It is timber framed with white painted brick infill and features a thatched roof that is half-hipped at each end, along with a central old brick chimney. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with one eaves dormer also thatched. The ground floor includes two doors and irregular casements, while there is a small lean-to with a tiled roof at the right-hand end.
