Description
King's Ash Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building features chequered brickwork composed of grey headers and red stretchers, while the east gable is rendered. It has a machine-made clay tile roof and is arranged in three bays over two storeys. There is evidence of original windows on the front and side, including two 3-light casements in the left-hand bays and 2-light casements in the right. A door is located between the left-hand bays, set within a modern gabled porch. The farmhouse includes a band course, sprocketted eaves, and three 2-light gabled dormers. A stack is positioned between the left-hand bays, and there is a gable band course along the top. Additionally, there is a gabled 19th-century rear range.
