Description
Ivy House Farmhouse is a building from the 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame with brick nogging and an old tiled roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has lattice casements, arranged in an L shape. Inside, there is an original hearth and stop-chamfered beams. A modern wing has been added, designed to be in keeping with the original structure. Some areas have tile hanging. The road-facing elevation includes a gable and a first floor that oversails on exposed timber corbels. Ivy House and the associated barns form a cohesive group.
