Description

This is an 18th-century barn converted into a house in 1928. It is constructed with a timber frame now clad in brick walls and has an old tiled roof, with a section carried down over an outshot on the right side. A 20th-century chimney stands at one corner, featuring a diamond-shaped shaft. A 20th-century square bay window is set into the main gable. Modern windows and dormers have been added to one side. Inside, two bays remain open, showcasing exposed timbers, including straight braces from posts to tiebeams, raking queenposts above, and curved braces within the exposed wall framing. The remaining two bays have a floor, and a modern addition is located at the north end.
