Description

Dormer Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century that has been altered. It features chequer brickwork over the remains of a timber frame and has an old tile roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of five very small bays, with two bays on the right that are slightly set back and lower than the others. The ground floor has two 20th-century five-pane sash windows on the left and two three-light wooden casements on the right, all of which have cambered heads. The first floor includes four paired wooden casements located in dormers that have catslide roofs. There is an old two-panelled door in the central bay. The cottage is included for its group value.
