Description

Hillside Cottage is a cottage that is part of a pair, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a plain-tiled roof. It has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central entrance features a 20th-century door with a moulded wood surround. To the left on the ground floor is a two-light casement window, and to the right is a three-light casement window with thin flat-arched heads; the right window is made of brick. On the first floor, there are two-light casements. The eaves are stepped and made of brick. The interior has not been inspected.
