Description
The Grand Union Canal Pumping Station, located to the north of the canal at Three Locks, was built between 1838 and 1841 and is now disused. It is constructed of brown brick in English bond with offset eaves and features a hipped slate roof. The building is single-storey and consists of three bays. On the right side, there are two windows with semi-circular arched heads and cast iron glazing bars that include ornamental roundels at the intersections. To the left, there is a boarded door with a semi-circular radiating fanlight. Additionally, there are double doors at the southeast end and a lower range at the rear.
