Description
Burnham Beeches Hotel, formerly known as Burnham Grove, is a building that dates partly from the 18th century and partly from the 19th century. It stands three storeys tall, with a two-storey east wing. The structure is made of brick and has a cement-rendered finish, topped with a hipped slate roof that features a moulded cornice and parapet.
On the south elevation, the central section showcases two canted bay windows that extend the full height of the building, with the ground floor windows in these bays having cambered arches. There is a central porch situated between the bay windows, supported by Doric columns and featuring an entablature. The west wing contains a range of four sash windows, while on the ground floor there is a three-light bay window on the left. The east wing features a range of six sash windows and a full-height three-light bay window. The section connecting this wing to the central part of the building has a three-light bay window on the ground floor only, and there is a stringcourse at first floor level.
