Description

This is a 17th-century cottage, altered subsequently, and part of a terrace. It is timber framed and has been refaced with colourwashed brick. The roof is thatched, with a brick chimney on the left-hand side. There is one dormer window in the eaves. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high and one bay wide. It features a three-light casement window and a door to the right-hand side, both with segmental arched heads. The cottage is recorded in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments volume I, page 310, and is numbered 41-45 within the Mons precinct.
