Description
The Buck Inn is an inn dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a grey slate roof and stands two storeys high with three bays. The building features long and short chamfered quoins. In the center, there is a four-panel door set in a plain surround topped with a cornice on plain console brackets. On either side of the door are four-pane sash windows, while the first floor has three 16-pane sashes, all within plain stone surrounds. The inn has tall corniced end stacks, and the eaves project on the left and right returns. It appears to have been added to an earlier range on the left, which is not included in the listing.
