Description
The railings, gates, and piers located to the west of Rigmaden Park were constructed in 1825 by Francis Webster for Christopher Wilson. They are made of stone and cast iron. A low stone wall, set back from the road, curves forward at both ends to meet the road, supporting the ornate iron railings. The wide central gate matches this style and features square gate piers topped with entablature caps and cast iron lanterns. On either side of the central gate are narrower gates with simpler piers, and similar piers are found at each end of the railings.
