Description
This water pump and trough, located 25 metres south-east of the Burgoyne Hotel in Reeth, was built in 1868. It is constructed from ashlar and features a circular trough with a cylindrical pump that stands approximately two metres high. The pump has a tap in the centre of the barrel and a plaque above it that reads: "This water was brought into the town and these tanks erected by the munificence of Geo. Robinson Esq of Richmond 1868." The structure is topped with a conical roof and a finial.
