Description
This is a small bank barn located approximately 5 meters south of Acre Farmhouse in Dent. It is likely from the 18th century and has been altered over time. The barn is constructed from coursed dry-jointed sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has a rectangular plan oriented on a north-south axis, positioned at right angles to the slope of the land. There is a small wagon doorway on the west side, which has a wooden lintel and a stone slate drip-course above it. Additionally, there is a loft doorway in the north gable, which now has a glazed screen. The barn forms a group with Acre Farmhouse.
