Description

Garden House, located approximately 100 metres north-east of Draycott Hall, is a folly in the garden of Draycott Hall, dating from the late 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. The structure is built of coursed rubble and consists of a single room designed in the style of a Medieval fortification, featuring a large 20th-century addition at the rear. The front has a 20th-century double door set beneath a keyed stone arch, replacing a former window, and is flanked by two slit windows with stone surrounds. There is a decorative band and a row of openings for pigeons, topped with an embattled parapet.
