Description

The garden wall surrounding the east, north, and west sides of Draycott Hall grounds dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and stretches approximately 150 meters north of Draycott Hall, enclosing the grounds. The wall stands between 3 and 5 meters high and features an embattled design. About 15 meters north of the house, there is a mock gateway that rises to approximately 8 meters. This gateway includes a stone arched opening flanked by two arched niches, each adorned with a blind quatrefoil above, and is topped with battlements.
