The central entrance has a board door within a surround featuring Ionic fluted jambs, torus-moulded imposts, a frieze with lozenges in the corners, fluting on the keystone, and the inscription “John Fawcett A.D. 1836” on panels in between. Above the door is a pulvinated cornice. Sash windows are set in plain surrounds. The ends of the building have stacks topped with decorative pots.
