Description

The Haggs is a house located in Reeth, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from rendered coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a central hallway entry with flanking wings that have lean-to roofs, and there is an additional outshut at the rear. The house is two storeys high and has three bays in the main section, with single-storey, single-bay wings on either side. It has a plinth and a decorative board door with studs, topped by a central roundel in a pedimented porch. The windows are plate-glass sashes with cambered heads throughout, and there is an eaves band on the side wings. The property is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Hagg Cottage.
