Description

Grimwith High Laithe is a barn dating from the 16th century, with partial rebuilding completed in 1982. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a heather roof. The barn is single-storey and consists of two bays, with a board door located on the left-hand side. Inside, there is a central cruck truss supported by two collar purlins. The floor is made of large stone flags, and in the left-hand bay, there are three crude wooden cattle stalls.
