Description
Ravenseat Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with later additions. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and a double-depth plan. On the first floor, there are two windows, and there is a single-storey porch. The farmhouse has quoins and a central quoined, gabled porch that includes a board door within a quoined surround. The windows are 4-pane sash types set in ashlar surrounds, which were formerly fitted with mullions, and there are weather-courses above them. To the left, there is a fire-window. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, and it is a two-span design with end stacks. A rear range was added in the 19th century, which features a round-arched landing window.
