Description
Banty Gill Bridge, also known as Chapel Bridge, is a public road bridge located over Long Rigg Beck in Howgill. It likely dates from the 18th century and is constructed of roughly-coursed rubble. The bridge features an almost semicircular arch made with rubble voussoirs and has a thin stone-slate arch-band. The straight parapets are topped with flat coping.
