Description
Hawkrigg is a farmhouse, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with the house being roughcast and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays, flanked by outbuildings. The windows are square and feature sash designs with vertical glazing bars. The central entrance is highlighted by a gabled porch with a segmental-arched opening. There are two cross-axial stacks. The outbuilding to the left has an entrance with a panelled door and a pitching hole above it, while the outbuilding to the right features a window and a pitching hole above. The right side of the building has entrances to a cow house.
