Description
Old House is a house that is partly ruined, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with alterations and an extension from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features one window on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The original structure consists of two bays, with a central boarded door that has a dripmould above it, and three-light chamfered mullion windows with hood-moulds. On the first floor, there are surrounds of two-light chamfered mullion windows, although the mullions have been removed, and these also have dripmoulds; some openings have been blocked. There is a stack located at the left end of the building, and part of the roof has fallen in. To the left is the end of a 19th-century range added at a right angle, which features window openings with hood-moulds and a six-pane sash window on the first floor.
