Description
Wraygreen Farmhouse, which includes a barn adjoining to the north, is a farmhouse that dates back to 1644, although it may be older. The building has undergone later additions and alterations, including the ramp barn at the north end. It is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and is partly rendered. The roof is made of graduated slate with stone-flagged eaves. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of four bays with a rear wing.
On the east elevation, there is a blocked two-light window with a sash to the right, and a casement and sash to the left, all beneath a continuous hoodmould with scrolled labels. The first floor features three sashes, a blocked two-light window, and a fire window. The south gable has stone copings and kneelers, while the house has rendered end chimneys. The two-bay barn has a plank door in an architrave at the rear and a ramp leading up to inserted first-floor part-glazed double doors on the north return. Inside the house, there are stop-chamfered beams, a panelled door, and a partition.
