Description
Wath Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of slobbered snecked rubble with quoins and features a graduated slate roof. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with five bays. A panelled door is set in a central full-height gabled porch, with two windows on either side of the porch on each floor. The first-floor window in the porch has dovecote openings above it. The south end of the house is adorned with stone coping and kneelers, and there are corniced stone chimneys at the ends. There is a lean-to outbuilding attached to the south return, but it is not of interest.
