Description

Brookside is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble, with some areas roughcast, and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door set in an ashlar surround that includes impost blocks. The windows are two-light casements, also in flush ashlar surrounds with parallel tooling. To the left, there is a shaped kneeler and ashlar coping. The house has end stacks and is included in the listing for its group value.
