Description
This structure is a folly located 10 meters south of Shawford Mill, dating from the early 19th century. It is built from flint on a stone plinth, with brick and stone dressings, topped by an old plain tile roof. The two-storey tower features camber-headed openings on the south face, one on each floor, which have brick dressings and a stone cornice, with a knapped flint panel in between. The roof is hipped, and inside, there are vaulted chambers made of flint and brick.
