Description

The Mead House, located on Turkey Island along the Harting Midhurst Road in East Harting, is a house comprising a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building with plaster infilling, and an 18th-century addition. The original portion has a tiled roof and casement windows, presenting a two-story, three-window facade. To the south is a three-story, two-window addition, clad in tiles above a base of clunch.
