Description

Kent House is an 18th-century house located on Kent House Lane in East Harting. The house is constructed of red brick and features a string course, a dentil course, and a parapet. A central window bay projects forward and has its own parapet. The roof is covered with slate and retains its original glazing bars. A porch with Doric columns and a pediment provides entrance; the sides of the porch were later enclosed. The doorway within the porch is topped by a semi-circular fanlight. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has three windows on the front elevation, along with two dormers.
