Description

The Gothic garden seat at Uppark, located to the east of the old Laundry and Kitchen block, was built by Sir Harry Fetherstonhaugh and designed by Humphry Repton around 1810 during the landscaping of the grounds. It features a semi-circular recess topped with a gable, which is lined with plaster and decorated with Gothic motifs.
