Description

Numbers 8 and 9 South Gardens are one building with an 18th-century exterior applied to an earlier structure. The building is faced with plaster and painted brick, topped with a hipped tiled roof. Number 8 has sash windows with glazing bars, while Number 9 has casement windows. A red brick buttress supports the ground floor at the southeast angle. The south wall is constructed of clunch. The building is two storeys high and has three windows facing the street.
