Description
Bank House, which houses Silletts (Craft and Leather Goods) and H Wilson, Builder, is an L-shaped building located on the east side of Alfriston High Street. The north wing, occupied by Silletts, dates from the 18th century and features two storeys and an attic with a gable-end facing the road. It has two windows and is constructed of red brick, with the first floor partly tile-hung and a tiled roof. The southeast wing is likely older, built with a combination of flints and tile-hung materials, and also has two storeys and two windows, with casement windows throughout.
