Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 15th century and has undergone significant alterations over the years. Originally, the building was larger, but the eastern part was demolished in the 17th century. The structure is primarily made of clunch, set on a darker stone plinth, with the west and south elevations rendered. There are some original masonry features, including flints and a large blocked window on the north side. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. A large rendered porch from the 19th century is also present. The house has two storeys and four windows. Notably, the painter Lucy Kemp Welch worked at the farm.
