Description

SU 8617-8717 COCKING CHURCH LANE 29/5 Manor Farmhouse 18.6.59 II House. C15, much altered at later dates. The building was originally larger, but the east portion was demolished in the C17. Mostly clunch on a darker stone plinth, the west and south elevations rendered. Some original masonry with flints and large blocked window on north side. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Large C19 rendered porch. Two storeys. Four windows. Lucy Kemp Welch, painter, worked at the farm.
