Description

Rectory Cottage and Wisteria Cottage are a pair of cottages, originally a single dwelling, dating to the 18th century or possibly earlier. They are located on Rectory Lane in Petworth, with Wisteria Cottage fronting onto Barton Lane. The building is two storeys high and has four windows. The ground floor is constructed of stone rubble with a red brick upper section, both beneath a tile-hung facade. The roof is hipped and tiled. The first floor features casement windows, while the ground floor has narrower 19th-century sash windows.
