Description

The cartshed at Upper Cranmore is a structure likely built in the first half of the 18th century and restored in the 20th century. It consists of three bays and features oak posts set on pad-stones, topped with a hipped tiled roof. Seven of the upright posts are original. Inside, the roof is constructed with through purlins and pegged rafters, and there is no ridgepiece. The rear of the building has vertical boarding. This cartshed is included as part of a farm group.
