Description

Upper Cranmore is a house dating from the 16th century, originally timber-framed and later refaced with painted brick. The first floor of the two westernmost window bays is tile-hung and shows evidence of an overhang. There is a string course above the two easternmost window bays. The house has a hipped tiled roof and features casement windows. The east front includes a tile-hung oversailing gable at the south end, and there is a brick chimney breast on the south wall. The building has two storeys and contains four windows.
