Description

The Cobden Club Hall was built in 1870 by the Jane Cobden Union, the daughter of John Cobden of Dunford House, originally serving as the village school. It was later converted into a club-house when the original club-house, now known as La Fontaine, was turned into a private house. The building is faced with flints, featuring red brick dressings and quoins, and has a tiled roof. It includes casement windows and has two projections on the west side, one of which is a gabled porch.
