Description
No. 6 St Martin's Lane is a house dating from the 17th century, which has been clad and altered in the 19th century. The building features a timber frame and is clad with a chequer pattern of red and blue brick on the ground floor, while the upper floors are finished with plain tile hanging. The second floor juts out to the west on the left side of the front. It has a plain tiled roof with a brick chimney stack located to the north behind the ridge. There is a single gabled dormer positioned to the left of the center on the south side. The house is three storeys high with an attic, featuring a single casement window in the center of the second floor, two casement windows on the first floor, and a full-width glazed flat-headed extension on the ground floor that includes a wooden-railed balcony above. The entrance is located in the ground floor extension.
