Description

The White Cottage is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and colourwashed brick infill, standing on a flint plinth and topped with a thatched roof. It is 1½ stories high and has three bays. There are two planked doors, one located in the center of the right bay and the other in the right of the center bay, with a stack positioned between them. To the left of the center door, there is a casement window. The left bay features exposed joist ends. The roof is half-hipped and has a decorated ridge with a ridge stack located between the doors. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to at the right end.
