Description
This is a barn located to the north of Moses Hill Farm, which dates back to around 1600 and has been altered in the 18th and 20th centuries. At the time of the survey, it was being used as a garage. The barn is timber-framed and is clad with weatherboarding, sitting on a base of stone rubble with red brick dressings. It features a hipped tiled roof and consists of a five-bay hay barn with a three-bay outshut added to the south, likely in the late 18th or early 19th century. The roof has angled queen struts with through purlins and an inserted ridgepiece. The barn's structure includes jowled upright posts with curved tension braces. The wall frame has a midrail and some curved tension braces, although parts of the wall frame have been modernized.
