Description

The Old Coach House and Barn, located in West Dean, dates from the 18th century. The southernmost part of the building has been modernized to serve as a house, while the remaining structure consists of two barns positioned at right angles to each other. The barns are two storeys high and feature three windows. The exterior is constructed with flints, accented by red brick dressings and quoins, and topped with a tiled roof. The windows have been replaced with modern designs.
