Description

Two barns located to the south of the farmhouse in West Dean, dating from the 18th century, are positioned at right angles to each other with a connecting section between them. The barns are faced with flints and feature red brick dressings and quoins. There are three buttresses supporting the structure. The west barn has a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the south side. A recessed waggon entrance is situated in the center of the south-east front.
