Description

SU 62 SW CORHAMPTON & MEONSTOKE HIGH STREET 4/37 Sunrise (formerly listed 6.3.67 as The Stores) II House. Early C18, with mid C19 extensions. Brick walls of English bond, small wing of flint with brick dressings, tile-hung staircase wing. Tile roof, catslide at rear (modified late C19). Symmetrical east front of two storeys and attic, three windows. Victorian sashes. Plain mid C19 Tuscan porch with two cast-iron columns, half-glazed door, and lead Sun fire insurance sign (No 70869). At the rear the central narrow staircase block, with hipped roof and tile hung, serves all three floors.
