Description

Sunrise is a house located on High Street in Corhampton and Meonstoke. It was built in the early 18th century and has mid-19th century extensions. The building features brick walls in English bond, a small wing made of flint with brick dressings, and a tile-hung staircase wing. The roof is tiled, with a catslide at the rear that was modified in the late 19th century.

The symmetrical east front has two storeys and an attic, with three windows that have Victorian sash frames. There is a plain mid-19th century Tuscan porch supported by two cast-iron columns, which includes a half-glazed door and a lead Sun fire insurance sign (No 70869). At the rear, a central narrow staircase block with a hipped roof and tile hanging serves all three floors.
