Description
Church End is a 17th century cottage located in Corhampton and Meonstoke. The cottage features a timber frame with late 18th century cladding on the front and an early 19th century cross-wing on the west side. It underwent restoration in the 20th century. The front wall is constructed of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with a plinth. On the west side, there is flint walling with brick quoins and bands that extend around the west wing. Other sections of the building have exposed framework with brick and some plaster infill. The roof is hipped and half-hipped, covered with tiles, and there are sloping roofs on the dormers. The south front elevation has two storeys and an attic, with a window arrangement of 1.2 windows above 1.3 windows. The windows are 20th century casements with rounded heads, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame.
